The AIMS of SKIF

The aims of the SKI are to foster and develop the practice of Karate as a BUDO (Martial Arts or Martial ways) form. SKI students take part in competitions, but the sport aspect of Karate is not allowed to take precedence over the more traditional aspects of Karate. SKI maintains the BUDO nature of Karate and frowns upon the growing emphasis of commercialism.
